Where are your courses held?

Our courses are all delivered by distance education with a combination of online and for some courses. Our students are from all over Australia. Some of our short courses are also suitable for international students not in Australia.

Do I have to pay upfront?

 

If you are enrolling in a short course, you need to pay upfront. Registrations for these courses are done via the website.

If you are enrolling in any accredited training course (eg the Certificate IV in Design of Kitchens, Bathrooms and Interior Spaces, you do not need to pay up front. You need to pay a $200 administration fee with your enrolment form and you are then able to pay your course fees by direct debit over a 12 month period (based on part time study). Once we receive your enrolment form we will send you a Direct Debit request for the correct amount.

 

Do I need to be working in the industry?

No you do not need to be working in the industry to undertake our courses.  The Certificate IV in Design of Kitchens, Bathrooms and Interior Spaces is suitable for both those working in the industry and those looking to get into the industry.

Some of our short courses are better suited to those working in the industry, as the information will build on your current knowledge, but they are all suitable for everyone.

 

 

 

Do you offer Recognition of Prior Learning?

Yes, we do offer Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for anyone who already has skills and knowledge which can be assessed to meet the requirements of the units of competency in an accredited training course. For more information please call us on 1300 850 725.

 

 

Are your courses recognised in the industry?

Yes, our courses are well recognised in the industry, and we are the only registered training provider in Australia offering courses all over Australia. We work closely with industry associations to make sure our courses are up to date and relevant to employers.

Do you offer nationally accredited training?

DTA are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 32284), and we offer a nationally accredited qualification with the Certificate IV in Design of Kitchens, Bathrooms and Interior Spaces (MSF40313).

We also offer short courses which will give additional skills and knowledge to those working in the industry. These courses are not nationally accredited but are developed and delivered by industry experts.

What experience do your trainers have?

All our trainers are also working in the industry as professional designers. They hold qualifications in a broad range of areas including Interior Design, Kitchen and Bathroom Design, Interior Decoration, Small Business Management, Management and Training and Assessment.

They all are active in keeping their own skills up to date with their own ongoing professional development.
