2D SketchUp and Drafting Standards for Kitchens and Bathrooms
This course is available to anyone who has completed our 3D SketchUp for Kitchens and Bathrooms course.
This course is targeted at professionals designing kitchens and bathrooms. Design Documentation prepared can be used for clients and trades.
One on one classes with our expert trainers.
This course teaches you to prepare professional design documentation (2D Orthographic Drawings) for kitchens and bathrooms including Australian Drafting Standards (AS1100) applicable to kitchens and bathrooms.
Delivery and Duration
You should allow 4 weeks and 8 hours per week (including time for private classes)
This course includes 4 private (remote) classes where our trainer accesses your computer using TeamViewer. These classes are spaced throughout the course to combine the benefit of one on one training with the flexibility and convenience of practice and application in your own time and place.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Due to our annual Christmas closure, any registrations for this course throughout December will commence once we reopen on Monday 13th January 2025

COURSE OUTLINE
From your 3D design models, use Layout to create 2D orthographic drawings including:
- Floorplans
- Elevations
- Sections
- Mechanical plans
- Lighting plans

- Australian Drafting Standards
- Industry conventions specific to kitchens and bathrooms
- Correct line types and line weights
- Dimensioning
- Symbols
- Drawing protocols
- Scale applicable to kitchens and bathrooms
- Title block information
4 one on one classes with an expert trainer (classes are 50 mins)
- Learn on your own computer
- Our trainer accesses your computer using TeamViewer for the duration of the classes
- Classes are booked directly with your trainer and are available during business hours (AEST) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
