find our courses compliment and build on their existing skills and knowledge in interiors. Many of our students hold existing qualifications in interior design and or interior decoration and love learning more about kitchen and bathroom design and/or custom cabinetry design by completing a specialist qualification or short course.

Industry Associations

The Housing Industry Australia (HIA) has been proudly representing the Australian housing industry for over seventy-five years.
Their vision remains the same, to be an association that speaks with a united voice on industry issues and creating real change, provides quality services at the lowest possible cost and works with the sector to maintain high standards through self-regulated commercial conduct.
As members of the HIA, DTA are involved in the Kitchen and Bathroom Committee and the HIA Awards program, regularly judging the local and national kitchen and bathroom awards.

The Kitchen and Bathroom Designers Institute of Australia (KBDi) is Australia’s only specialist association for bathroom designers and kitchen designers. The KBDi is a national organisation with local chapters located around Australia, providing kitchen designers and bathroom designers with Certification, (CKD Au, CBD Au), Professional Development, and networking opportunities for members. KBDi membership is open to all those with an interest in kitchen design and bathroom design – from students just starting out to highly experienced industry professionals.
